Each year Mindful Connections will host a back-to-school teen summit that will focus on suicide awareness/prevention. The summit will be developed by and for adolescents and will feature situational skits and performances by musical guests.
We believe that is important to provide those much-needed tools for the start of a successful school year that is why we will help to supply those vulnerable members of our community with backpacks filled with school supplies each year.
Feeding the families within our community during the holidays is just one way we plan to give back to our community.
The Christmas Holidays can be especially stressful for those families in our communities that struggled to meet their basic needs. We plan to lighten the load by providing toys that will help to bring a little joy to a child in need.
What better way to bring the community together than through fun, excitement, and kids which is why we will host an event during the spring to get people out of the house and enjoy a day of fun with the Mindful Connections Community Easter Egg Hunt.
We will host this event once a year to honor those who help to keep Mindful Connections a relevant and important part of the communities we serve.
