About Us

About Us

Mindful Connections is a community non-profit organization led by a Registered Nurse and U.S. Army Veteran that provides mental health support services to individuals and families of individuals who have mental/behavioral health conditions. Our target population are those individuals between ages of 15 and 25 years old because of the high probability of the onset of mental illness during these years. Mindful Connections works in early detection of mental health conditions to improve management of the conditions and to improve the quality of life for these individuals.

Our Mission

Mindful Connections will work to improve the lives of those individuals between the ages of 15-25 years who suffer from the complexities of living with mental/behavioral health conditions by creating individualized support plans by utilizing community resources to address the social, family, school/work, and social interaction areas of their personal lives.

Our Vision

Our vision is to serve as a nonprofit organization within the Antelope Valley region of Los Angeles County that will decrease the number of individuals with mental/behavioral health conditions ages 15-25 within our community who suffer from the debilitating effects of lack of knowledge and access to much-needed resources that may lead to adverse outcomes.
